Dear All -
On a lighter tone:

1. End of the G5 machines
Two weeks ago Apple ran out of 17" G5 iMacs - leaving only Intel-based ones available at that size. This week the
end of 15" G5-based laptops (from the PowerBook range) was announced by Apple. There may be some left in the sales
channels.
2. Tuesday 28 february
Journalists are being invited to Apple's Headquarters at Cupertino on tuesday-next to be present at a "fun-filled"
event. Rumours of what may be announced include a new video Pod (with a large screen and a thumb wheel based on
touch-screen technology, and/or a possibly an Intel-based miniMac, Who knows?
